Greetings, friends!
I am excited to tell you why I am running for Genesee County Commissioner. I welcome your love, prayers, and support.
My life’s work in this community has been built on a foundation of diligence, collaboration, service, and active citizenship.
I have been a volunteer, a donor, a City Councilperson, a nonprofit CEO and board member, and a faculty member, Executive Dean, and Associate Vice President at Mott Community College.
I believe in bringing people of good will and reason together to solve tough problems and plan for a brighter future — a future that includes all of us working together for a better Genesee County.
At a time when our democracy and public life seem more and more disjointed, fractured, and even poisonous, I hope to offer a campaign that will inspire many — Democrats, Independents, and Republicans — to understand that we’re all in this together.
So, let’s get to work on addressing critical issues like jobs and economic development, education and training, infrastructure and technology upgrades, our parks and the environment, and support for public safety, community health, and services for older adults and veterans.
I believe we can take on all of these concerns, while also protecting our democracy and striving to build an ever more inclusive and wonderfully diverse community.
In short, let’s build our community and future, together.
I hope you will join me in this effort!
